On the 12th, 13th and 14th of February, Barcelona hosted the first edition of Pick&Pack, an innovative event for packaging and intralogisitcs. The event, which had both exhibition and congress areas, brought together more than 7,000 professional visitors, which far exceed initial expectations.
The event was focused on sustainability and optimization process and the National Packaging Congress 4.0 set the roadmap for the industry through innovations and success stories.
Following our focus on innovation, from our stand and as part of the multinational group Essentra Packaging, we presented our latest developments in logistics efficiency services: ComboPack, a secondary material adhered to the packaging and Pre-serialisation of cartons. The aim of these services is to help customers to increase efficiency in their packaging lines.
On this occasion, we created our stand with a ComboPack mural made of folding cartons produced with our digital printing and using HP’s “Edge printing” technique. Attached to each carton, visitors dicovered leaflets, cards and different surprises.
In addition, we had a dedicated space to provide advice on current and future serialisation regulations, and on how to adapt them in the most efficient way.
These services are part of our commitment to value-added packaging and are aligned with our value proposition to give the customer the best service to facilitate their productive activity.

Our partner Marga Romo discussed News on barrier materials and Smart packaging together with different professionals on Thursday the 13th at the National Packaging Congress 4.0.
On behalf of the entire team, we want to thank all the people who came to the stand, as well as those who attended the conferences. We hope to continue responding to your concerns and growing and innovating together. We look forward to hearing from you!
